Welcome Coach Hyram Fernandes to VDA

Hyram is a first year coach with VDA. He's played volleyball since the age of 12, starting off playing beach volleyball in Brazil. He then transitioned to playing indoor volleyball at the age of 14. Hyram started for 4 years at the varsity level for Brookfield High School. He was also a member of the NLVC club team on their 1s team. Throughout his career Hyram has played setter, outside hitter, libero, and even right side (opposite). He strives to better whomever he coaches, not only on their abilities on the court but also through the mental aspect of the game as well. Hyram brings an infectious passion for the game of volleyball that easily resonates with players.
