Director of Mental Development

Noelle

Noelle comes to VDA with years of experience working with youth and investing in the great game of volleyball. As an outside hitter, she led her high school team to two consecutive sectional titles, bringing home the MVP both times. She went on to play two years of Division III collegiate volleyball in a rigorous program that enhanced and accelerated her skills and knowledge of the game. Several years later, she became the assistant volleyball coach at her alma mater, where she helped rebuild a program that was in decline. Noelle is also a mother of five beautiful children whom she homeschooled for almost 15 years. In addition to seasoned motherhood, she spent over a decade working with young people in summer camp settings, five years in professional outdoor education, and several years as a substitute teacher in both private and public schools. She recently earned her MAT and is currently a middle school teacher who occasionally steps back on the court to see if she's still got it. Noelle has accumulated an extensive wealth of knowledge and experience in childhood and adolescent development and possesses a passion for the holistic growth and well-being of young people through connection and communication. She's excited to bring her vision and life experiences to VDA in hopes of supporting the coaches and athletes as they build a phenomenal program.

Hannah Treis

Director of Daily Operations

Coach

Hannah discovered her passion for volleyball in the 7th grade, quickly developing a love for the game that has stayed with her ever since. She continued her playing career at Hudson Valley Community College (HVCC), where she competed for two years.

Today, Hannah still enjoys being on the court, playing both grass doubles and indoor volleyball with friends whenever she can. Her love for the game naturally evolved into coaching, and since 2021 she has been dedicated to developing athletes at both the high school and club levels.

As a coach, Hannah brings energy, experience, and a genuine passion for helping players grow, not just in skill, but in confidence, teamwork, and love for the sport.
